Of Mango Man &
Mota Maall!!!

I nicely remember year 2009, when a Poll was conducted
& which said that the most used & spoken word for that year was ‘Twitter’.
If the same survey is conducted again in our country for this very year, what
would be the most frequent or mode term; mmmmm……. Let’s think….. OK. We must
revise, lets barge into the abattoir of dictions. From January to October… the
list of words are- Lokpal, Anna, Tiger, Sedition, Corruption, Kingfisher, Scam
& above all or say a word which means common & most commonly used by
Indians i.e. ‘Aam Admi’. This year, when everything was used launched in new
versions like Rishi Kapoor & Sanjay Dutt in Agneepath, Akhilesh Yadav as
C.M. & Pranab Da as President etc. so the term ‘Aam Aadmi’ was well
recycled as the term ‘Mango Man’. Say that Mango Cultivation was less this
year. Another term that was introduced was ‘Mota Maal’ introduced by the Leader
of Opposition in the lower house of Indian Parliament. Its really so capricious
of our parliament. These two terms,
Mango Man & Mota Maal, all the way promulgated in the sacristy of Indian
Constitution, spells the resilience of the constitutional vocabulary. The leader
of opposition, in Parliamentary session accused the P.M. of earning ‘Mota Maal’
(i.e. Big Money) from the coal block allocation scam. So thoroughly spelled as
Coalgate Scam, although the term remained vague after it was uttered, but this said
the hemming of the Political leaders.
Both of these words have stirred the Indian
Minds & said that ‘Why should electorates have all the fun?’ Parties also
can scrabble such dictions on the Platform & enjoy their speeches. But nation
is still thinking to get some pieces of Mota Maal & taste of the Mango that
the Man is….
